Another broken bone.....

Things have been a bit crazy here. Last night just after dark, the girls were racing back into the house and K tripped and came in crying for an icepack. She was holding her arm and in SEVERE pain. After the other broken bones we have gone through, we know the routine and decided to try and wait it out and just take her to the orthopedic on Monday. Well, within 2 hours it was so swollen we decided it needed to be xrayed to make sure it wasn't displaced. Well, after getting it xrayed, the doctor comes in, hands me the xray and says you tell me, hehe. Yes, it is that obvious. It is broke all the way through the big bone in her arm.So, looks like she will be back in a cast. This is the 3rd time in 18 months. Urggg! I want them toc heck for bone denisty just to make sure we are not overlooking a problem. You know, just to confirm that it is just her being a clumsy kid and not another problem. She is still in enough pain that she is having to take pain killers. Advil is not cutting it. Poor thing! This is those times when you really wished you could just kiss it and make it feel better. Please keep her in your prayers.
